Stratasys Wins $27.6M in Patent Case Against Bambu Lab

Stratasys won a $27.6 million jury verdict against Bambu Lab in one of the 3D printing industry’s biggest patent fights. A federal jury in Texas found that four Bambu Lab-related companies infringed four Stratasys patents. The jury also rejected Bambu Lab’s argument that the four patents should not be considered valid. The verdict came on September 17 after a week-long trial in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas. The $27.6 million award covers past damages.

Bloomberg Law also reported that the jury found Bambu Lab’s infringement “willful,” meaning it was not accidental.
