Additional Context

Sinto Advanced Ceramics Europe GmbH has added two non-oxide ceramics, aluminum nitride (AlN) and silicon nitride (Si₃N₄), to its additive manufacturing materials portfolio. The manufacturer says both materials are now available for development projects, prototypes, and industrial applications.

The company had already evaluated both ceramics internally and used them in initial projects before formally adding them to its offering. The first publicly shown parts in the new materials appeared at ESA Industry Space Days 2026: aluminum nitride sleeves, a silicon nitride hold-down component, and an aluminum nitride heat exchanger.

The additions sit alongside Sinto’s existing range of high-purity oxide ceramics, which includes alumina, zirconia, alumina-toughened zirconia (ATZ), and zirconia-tou
