Iran has captured an autonomous Anduril Dive-LD underwater drone. The 5.8-meter-by-12-meter drone is used for ISR and possibly demining operations. But through a 3D-printed payload area, it can be converted to support different payloads. The drone can be submerged for up to 10 days and travel to depths of 6000 meters.
The US says that the drone malfunctioned and that “The drone was essentially dead in the water for more than a day.” The Navy also said that it was an older model.
