GM Scales Stratasys 3D Printing Across 20 Manufacturing Facilities

Stratasys has announced a new showcase of its long-standing collaboration with General Motors (GM), highlighting how the automaker is using Stratasys additive manufacturing (AM) solutions across more than 20 manufacturing facilities to cut lead times and costs while improving operational performance.

GM teams are using Stratasys FDM AM systems to produce tooling, fixtures, jigs, factory aids and end-use parts, with facilities reporting notable savings. Manufacturing teams across multiple GM production sites in North and South America have deployed the platforms for applications spanning tooling, quality, safety and ergonomics for years.
