Founded in 2009, the company had good software and good prices. With investment from Creadev, the company raised over $5 million. Sculpteo then moved a bit more into industrial and was acquired by BASF. Sculpteo became BASF’s industrial and consumer 3D printing offering, spearheading a deeper engagement with LPBF. Now the company is a part of 3D Prod, another French service bureau.
